Injury as a disease is globally endemic. Trauma care is inclusive and Trauma Surgery is not exclusive. It is the intention of this society to pool in as many practitioners from across all surgical fields who are involved in the treating the injured to speak one language and have one voice in promoting, advancing and encouraging the provision of trauma care as well as sharing and disseminating knowledge and experience in the field of trauma care.

 

Despite being from diverse surgical disciplines, all of us can contribute to the betterment of care for the injured. We urge all surgeons and surgical practitioners from all fields to stand with us and link arms, join us and be part of a great team, which hopefully will be a life changing and rewarding experience.
